Today I’m sharing a page of Victorian era adverts that I scanned from a 1901 magazine.
The publication I scanned the Victorian era adverts from was one of ten magazines about Queen Victoria; I’m assuming they were brought out after the death of Victoria on 22nd January 1901 as commemoration of her life as British Monarch.

I think you can forgive the discolouration in the top left-hand corner when the page is over 100 years old! Below I’ve picked out my two favourite adverts to edit.
This is a cleaned up version of the top left advert which is a perfume called Florodora:
This is a cleaned up version of the wig advert in the bottom right-hand corner of the page. I love how the company (Morton & Morton) call themselves ornamental hair stylists instead of just ordinary wig makers!
